Cedar Vista

Cedar Vista

Cedar Vista was laid out by Joseph Hooker in 1871 and is the longest of seven avenues radiating out from the Pagoda.

It opens up the Arboretum and visually links the Pagoda at one extremity with the Thames and a stunning view of the Syon estate across the river.

It passes the Waterlily Pond and the surrounding Woodland Glade and, along with Syon Vista and Pagoda Vista, creates a popular triangular walk through the Gardens, taking in a mixture of tree collections and the Lake.
