Syon Vista

Syon Vista is a major feature in the Kew landscape. This part of the Gardens was originally part of Richmond Gardens, but its character is dominated by the 1845 and later design of Nesfield and the Hookers.

Originally, Syon Vista was a wide gravel-laid walk, stretching 1,200 m (3,937 ft) towards the Thames and the view of Syon House on the opposite side.

The view along the Vista to the Syon estate across the Thames make this possibly one of the the most visited areas at Kew.

Syon Vista, along with Cedar Vista and Pagoda Vista, together make a popular triangular walk through the Gardens, taking in a mixture of tree collections and the Lake.
