Science Strategy

Kew's Science Strategy

Science strategy was developed and refined through a broad consultative process during 2000/01. The resulting strategy documents synthesise contributions from hundreds of Kew scientists and insights from benchmarking studies in order to provide a rationale for the science we do, a basis for prioritisation, and a framework for decision-making. They articulate how we define success as a scientific institution focused on plant diversity and how we attempt to measure it. They also provide a unique insight into Kew as an organisation shaped by the diverse experiences and shared motivations of its dedicated staff and research associates.
