Chrysanthemum multicaule 'Moonlight'

Flowering period: All Summer
Description: A species colour break! Many stems of single, daisy-like flowers of cool lemon-yellow produced all summer long. Because of its uniform growth and small bushy habit they have many uses including window boxes, hanging baskets and containers or for summer bedding displays and edging the perennial border. They also make excellent pot plants for the cold greenhouse or sunny windowsill. Mowers summer. Height 20cm (8in). Spread 30cm (12in).
Sowing: Sow on the surface of a good seed compost from late winter to early summer. Germination usually takes 5-21 days at 18-24C (65-75F). Alternatively, seed can be sown outdoors in drills 6mm (¬in) deep, 30cm (12in) apart in spring where they are to flower and thinned out to 23-30cm (9-12in) apart. Autumn sowing: In districts where the winters are mild they can be sown outdoors in September.
Growing: Transplant when large enough to handle into boxes and grow on in cooler conditions. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out, after all risk of frost, 23-30cm (9-12in) apart in a sunny spot in ordinary, preferably well drained garden soil.

Warning: May cause skin allergy
