The families are sorted alphabetically within Major Groups. Click on any family to download to your computer an ASCII file of the genera which it contains.
The downloaded file is uncompressed - even the largest file is small enough not to require compression. The file is an ASCII text file, with one line per genus name, sorted alphabetically. Each field will be delimited by double quotation marks, and separated from the next by a comma. The fields are:
Unique identity number
Hybrid sign
Name
Author
If a synonym, the unique identity number of the preferred name
